The Hannah Montana star was confirmed to appear in the highly-anticipated movie last month and filmed her one-off scene some weeks ago.
During the shoot, the 17-year-old arrived at a film premiere set and wore the same dress as Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones character.
Cyrus told Extra: "I didn't get to keep the dress because they need it for Kim. But I got to keep the necklace. The necklace is cool.
"It's like these giant spikes, and I wanted to wear it while I was performing. My mum was like, 'That could be dangerous... You can't wear that on stage'."
The follow-up opens in cinemas on May 28, 2010.
