Heche signs for 'Rapids', 'Other Guys'

The Hung actress will play the female lead in Fox Searchlight's Rapids, while she is cast as a businesswoman in Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's ensemble cop movie, according to Variety.
Rapids follows the story of a "wholesome and naive man" from Wisconsin (Helms) who is forced to represent his company at a regional conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he is shocked by the big-town experience. Heche will play a woman he meets and befriends at the event.
In The Other Guys, Heche's character will hire police officers Ferrell and Wahlberg to look into financial losses at her company. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Samuel L Jackson and Steve Coogan are also signed up for the project.
