According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad Epstein (About A Boy) will co-produce the film, which is based on Terrel Seltzer's original screenplay.
Seltzer's credits include comedy How I Got Into College and George Clooney rom-com One Fine Day.
Witherspoon's next big screen outing will come in James L. Brooks's currently untitled rom-com.
