Director Martin Scorsese and actor Robert De Niro have discussed the possibility of reuniting for a sequel to their classic 1976 collaboration Taxi Driver.
Taxi Driver told the story of disillusioned Vietnam veteran Travis Bickle (De Niro) who turns vigilante and falls in love with a teenage prostitute (Jodie Foster).
MRIB reports the acclaimed director and award-winning actor are 'in talks' to make a sequel. De Niro explained: "I was talking with Martin Scorsese about doing what I guess you'd call a sequel to Taxi Driver, where Travis Bickle is older."
