Alan Cumming joins 'Burlesque' cast

Alan Cumming has reportedly signed to star in upcoming film Burlesque.

The Tony Award-winning actor will play a gender-bending club host and MC, reports Variety. He joins Kristen Bell, Cher and Stanley Tucci in the movie, which is written and directed by Steve Antin.

Burlesque focuses on a small town girl whose ambition and singing talent lead her to a neo-burlesque club. The film is set for a November 2010 release.
