The film centres on a woman who sends an angry email to her new lover after he stops contacting her after they have sex. However, when she discovers that he has gone into a coma in Mexico, she sets off on a trip with her female friends to intercept the message before he recovers.
The movie has been dubbed the female Hangover.
Mark Gordon (2012) and Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity) will produce the project, which was scripted by Ellen Rapoport.
Fisher currently has two other rom-coms lined up with Universal, an untitled project based on the French script One Day My Princes Will Come and the Will Ferrell-produced Life Coach.
