The actor, who appears with Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in this month's sequel New Moon, said that he gets on well with both of his co-stars off screen.
"Kristen is great, I have a lot of fun with her, we're very close and the chemistry we have behind the scenes will be reflected in the movie," he said. "Rob and I are friends in real life, but when the cameras start rolling we loathe each other."
The 17-year-old confessed that his life has changed significantly since he became famous through the vampire franchise.
"Sometimes I'm afraid of going out, especially when there's a lot of fans who want to come up to you, but I try to have as much fun as possible with the fame," STV quotes him as saying. "Sometimes I have to wear a hat and glasses to go out and not be recognised. Depends on the day."
