Lautner 'hated bulking up for Twilight'

Taylor Lautner has revealed that he struggled to bulk up for the forthcoming Twilight sequel.

The actor was forced to alter his diet and embark on an intense exercise regime to transform himself for his role in New Moon.

He told Star: "Most people were like, that sounds amazing, to be able to eat all the time, and it is at first. But after a year and a half of it, I mean, I have to put something in my mouth every two hours, so it becomes kind of annoying!"

New Moon opens on November 19 in US cinemas and in the UK on November 20.
