Solipsist Films is in the early stages of developing Glen Brunswick and John Romita Jr's series The Gray Area, reports Mania.com.
Sin City 2 producer Stephen L'Heureux's new production company recently acquired the rights to another graphic novel, Full Moon Fever, while Romita and Brunswick currently retain the rights to The Gray Area.
Brunswick (Jersey Gods) is reportedly working on the screenplay for the adaptation.
Longtime Marvel artist Romita made his first foray into creator owned comics with Image's 2004 three-issue miniseries The Gray Area, which follows a crooked cop's journey into the afterlife.
Romita's current creator-owned series Kick-Ass - written by Mark Millar (Ultimates) - has been adapted into a movie by director Matthew Vaughan. It is due for release in April 2010.
