
Jim Carrey's A Christmas Carol has debuted at the top of the UK box office.
The performance capture rendition of Charles Dickens's classic festive story pulls in £1.9 million on its opening weekend to knock This Is It from the chart summit.
Pixar's Up is at number three, while new entries The Men Who Stare At Goats and The Fourth Kind round out the top five.
Elsewhere, Jennifer's Body, the Megan Fox horror-comedy penned by Oscar winner Diablo Cody, enters at number seven.
