Depp getting £21m for 'Pirates 4'?

Johnny Depp has reportedly been offered £21 million to star in the new Pirates Of The Caribbean film.

The 46-year-old actor, who has starred as Captain Jack Sparrow in three of the movies, is apparently likely to become Hollywood's highest-paid actor.

It is believed that Disney bosses offered Depp such a high fee because his co-stars Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have decided not to appear in the film.

Movie industry insiders have said that Geoffrey Rush will return as villain Captain Barbossa, while Penelope Cruz is rumoured to be playing the lead female role.
