Rinsch to direct Reeves's '47 Ronin'

Written by Chris Morgan (Wanted), the film is based on the true story of a warrior who leads a group of swordsmen to avenge the death of their master in 1702.
The movie will mix intense battle scenes with fantastical elements inspired by the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, says Variety.
Rinsch, who shoots commercials for Ridley and Tony Scott's RSA company, had been attached to make the Alien prequel but studio Fox refused to move forward with the film unless Ridley Scott returned to the director's chair.
