Stellen Skarsgard has signed to join the cast of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels.
The Swede will play 'Bootrap' Bill Turner, father of Will (Orlando Bloom), who was fired into the sea from a cannon.
There will be two sequels to the original 2003 adventure, both filmed this year. Fellow stars Johnny Depp, Kiera Knightley and Orlando Bloom have all signed up, and the first, possibly called Pirates of the Caribbean: Treasures of the Lost Abyss, will be upon us next summer.
