'New Moon' leads Aus box office

The vampire romance, led by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, breaks the opening record set by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince earlier this year.
2012 slips a place on its second week of release, while A Christmas Carol holds on to the number three spot. Rounding out the top five is The Time Traveller's Wife and Clive Owen's The Boys Are Back.
Elsewhere, new Coen brothers movie A Serious Man enters at number eight.
