Summit producing comic book film 'Alibi'

Summit Entertainment has partnered with Top Cow Productions and Mandeville Entertainment for the feature adaptation of comic book Alibi.

The studio has hired The Shield writer John Stephens to pen the script, reports Variety.

The comic centres on John Stephens, the world's best assassin, who can get away with high-profile killings with the help of his twin brother. As the plot progresses, his secret is uncovered and his world changes forever.

The title was created by Top Cow president Matt Hawkins and Michael Renegar.
