'Up in the Air' takes four NBR awards

The Jason Reitman-directed drama stars George Clooney and Anna Kendrick.
Retiman and writing partner Sheldon Turner also won 'Best Screenplay' for the film, while Clooney shared the 'Lead Actor' award with Invictus star Morgan Freeman, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Kendrick was named 'Best Supporting Actress'.
Invictus earned Clint Eastwood the 'Best Director' prize. The film made the group's Top 10 of the year, which also included An Education, (500) Days of Summer, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, The Messenger, A Serious Man, Star Trek, Up and Where the Wild Things Are.
The NBR, composed of film historians, students and educators, gives out the earliest prizes of the pre-Oscar award season.
