'A Christmas Carol' returns to UK BO summit

The Robert Zemeckis 3D performance capture movie pulls in £1.5 million on its sixth week of release to take first place ahead of new entry Where The Wild Things Are. A Christmas Carol's box office takings now stand at just over £16 million.
Planet 51, climbing a place from last week's number four, Paranormal Activity and New Moon round out the top five.
Elsewhere, new releases Carriers and The Stepfather fail to make a dent in the top ten, landing at eleven and thirteen respectively.
