According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair will pen a script based on the book for Paramount Pictures. Dark Horse Entertainment's Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg will produce the project. Series writer Andrew Cosby and Ross Ritchie of BOOM! Studios will act as executive producers.
The comic takes place in a post-apocalyptic future where the US has been evacuated following an attack by "inhuman nocturnal predators". It tells the tale of the survivors after the government has been forced to relocate to London while scientists search for a solution.
Andrew Crosby penned the original miniseries and Jason Shawn Alexander provided illustrations.
A potential release window for Damn Nation is yet to be announced.
