'Avatar' tops Australian box office

James Cameron's science fiction epic pulls in more than $11 million to secure first place in the chart. The total is more than the rest of the movies in the top ten combined.
Last week's number one Paranormal Activity slips to four, while New Moon holds firm at two and animation Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs climbs a place to three. Rounding out the top five is Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are.
Elsewhere, 2012 continues to cling to a chart place, spending its sixth week in the top ten at number seven.
