Johnny Depp's performance as Willy Wonka in the latest adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is set to terrify youngsters.
Annasophia Robb, who plays Violet in the film, has revealed that Depp was extremely friendly on set, but terrifying once he got in front of the cameras.
"His character is very creepy from any other Willy Wonka you've seen," Robb is quoted by Femalefirst.co.uk as saying. "I'm not allowed to say very much about that movie.
"He's such a normal guy, he treats everyone with the same amount of respect. He invites us to his trailer to make us feel more comfortable with him."
Depp recently revealed that he is basing the character of Willy Wonka on Marilyn Manson.
