A director and two writers have boarded Warner Bros' big screen feature Marvin the Martian.
Inspector Gadget 2 helmer Alex Zamm has been tapped to direct the film, and scribes Paul Kaplan and Mark Torgove are to pen the script, says Hero Complex.
The film will be a live-action/CGI animation hybrid, featuring the title Looney Tunes villain interacting with live-action characters.
Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove and Steve Crystal will produce the project.
Production is to begin in 2010. Warner is eyeing a 2011 release.
