The 49-year-old, who stars with Sarah Jessica Parker in Did You Hear About The Morgans?, said that he is currently deciding whether to continue with his career despite "thoroughly" enjoying making the movie.
Grant told The Daily Telegraph: "I'm making that choice right now. I just don't know."
The actor claimed that he was talked into joining the cast by director Marc Lawrence, saying: "I forgot that I had made a resolution never to make another film!"
Grant recently described co-star Parker as "low maintenance... very clever, very funny and very unusual. She was an absolute delight to work with".
Did You Hear About The Morgans? is scheduled for release on Boxing Day.
