George Lucas is expected to make a cameo appearance is the last of the Star Wars films.
According to Ain't It Cool News, Lucas will appear very briefly as Baron Papanoida in the opera house scene, assuming the scene is not edited out of the final cut.
If he does go ahead with the appearance, Lucas will be taking a leaf from Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Jackson appeared in all three films, first as uncredited hobbit Albert Dreary, then an uncredited Rohirrim Warrior and then as an also uncredited Mercenary On Boat.
Star Wars III: Revenge Of The Sith is due for a UK release in May.
