'Aviator' star DiCaprio admits real-life OCD
Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted he suffers from mild obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

In The Aviator, DiCaprio plays billionaire pilot Howard Hughes, whose struggle with OCD included a severe fear of germs, wearing tissue boxes for shoes and never cutting his nails.

"My thing was not stepping on cracks, or not stepping on certain things," said DiCaprio, who suffered from OCD as a child.

The condition returned while filming the biopic, however. He added: "Sometimes it took me ten minutes to get to the set because I'd be pacing back and forth, stepping on gum stains."

The movie is nominated for eleven awards at this weekend's Oscars ceremony.
