McGregor, Douglas board 'Knockout' cast

Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Dennis Quaid and Michael Fassbender have joined the cast of Steven Soderbergh's spy film Knockout.

The quartet join mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano in the project, which centres on a girl from the wrong side of the tracks who is recruited into a Blackwater-style security contractor.

McGregor has been cast as the owner of the security firm, Douglas an executive at the company and Fassbender a British agent who teams up with Carano.

Soderbergh's The Limey writer Lem Dobbs penned the script for the film, which goes into production next month on location in the US, Ireland and Turkey.
