UK film Wasp has won an Oscar for best live action short.
The movie, which stars Danny Dyer and Molly Griffiths, follows a single mother of four living in Dartford.
"This is truly overwhelming," said director Andrea Arnold. "I'm not really used to this kind of thing. I'd like to thank everyone who worked on the film, everyone who worked at the studio really hard - they know who they are. The beers are on me when I get home."
She added: "What can I say? In England I'd say that this is the dog's bollocks. Thankyou very much."
