Robin Williams has reportedly taken a large pay cut for the upcoming The Night Listener.

The New York Daily News report that the One Hour Photo star will receive a mere $65,000 (£33,800) to appear in the adaptation of Armistead Maupin's novel in which a gay radio presenter (Williams) gets romantically involved with his greatest fan.

Sandra Oh (Sideways) and Toni Collette (Muriel's Wedding) are also apparantly in talks to appear in the $3m movie.
