Sheridan, whose credits include heavyweight dramas My Left Foot, In The Name Of The Father and this week's Brothers, told DS that he is happy to direct a movie that doesn't involve war.
"I'm doing Dream House with Daniel Craig," he said. "It's almost like a genre movie. It's just wanting to do something lighter - it's not light but it's something different that's not war in Ireland or America or political. It's just an entertainment."
Brothers, starring Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman, opens in UK cinemas today.
