Matrix star Keanu Reeves is to set sail on the The 8th Voyage of Sinbad.
Reeves will play the sailor from The Arabian Nights in the movie directed by Rob Cohen and produced by Neal Moritz, report Variety. The story, set in eighth-century China, sees Sinbad and his crew embark on a voyage to find the Lamp of Aladdin.
Reeves new film, Constantine will hit UK cinema screens on March 18. Francis Lawrence's adaptation of the Hellblazer comic book sees Reeves take the lead role as a supernatural detective.
