According to E!, the Twilight star revealed that there is nothing romantic about the kiss the two co-stars share in their upcoming film The Runaways.
"It's just something we did," Stewart said at last night's Sundance Film Festival premiere of the biopic about Joan Jett's 1970s all-girl rock band. "In this story, it's so not like a romantic thing. It's just something that they just do."
The actress added that the two of them had larger matters to worry about.
"We had so many other really crazy things that we were intimidated by, like, we had a performance that day, so when that came up on the schedule we were like, 'Whoa!' But then, 'Alright, whatever'. It was sort of just like another thing," she said.
