'Saw VII 3D' nabs 'Paranormal' director

The studio and Saw production company Twisted Pictures have reportedly excercised an option to retain Greutert for Saw VII 3D, effectively removing him from the director's chair for Paranormal Activity 2.
Twisted has taken current Saw VII 3D director David Hackl off the project to make way for Greutert and will set him up on a new movie.
Both Paranormal Activity 2 and the latest Saw will clash at the box office when they open on October 22. Last year, Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity beat Saw VI to the box office top spot in the US, ending the franchise's annual Halloween dominance.
