Bobin, who devised the popular HBO comedy show Flight Of The Conchords with Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, has reportedly been approached by Disney to make the first Muppets feature since 1999's Muppets From Space.
Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller have written the screenplay for the film, which sees the disbanded Muppets getting back together to put on a show. Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) was initially attached to helm the movie, but has to instead complete work on Russell Brand's Get Him To The Greek.
Bobin is also being eyed for Judd Apatow comedy Bridesmaids, about two women who fight it out to organise their friend's wedding party.
