Ozzy Osbourne wants Depp for biopic

Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he would like Johnny Depp to play the title role in an upcoming film adaptation of his memoir, I Am Ozzy.

The former Black Sabbath front man says: "People are working on scripts right now."

Osbourne wants the Oscar-winning actor to read the screenplay once it is finished, according to the Daily Contributor.

"I've thought about Johnny Depp," Osbourne said. "He's one of the few actors who knows about rock 'n' roll who does a really good English accent."

The film will detail Osbourne's rock 'n' roll career, personal life and nearly three decades of substance abuse.
