'Avatar' undefeated at US box office

New releases can't seem to find a way to shift James Cameron's blockbuster, as Mel Gibson's Edge Of Darkness and Kristen Bell's rom-com When In Rome debut at number two and three respectively.
The fantasy comedy The Tooth Fairy remains at its previous spot at number four with $10 million, while The Book Of Eli drops to number five with $8.7 million and Legion, starring Paul Bettany, slips to number six with $6.8 million.
Claiming the number ten position on the chart is Meryl Streep's It's Complicated with $3.7 million.
