Hynes back with Pegg for 'Burke And Hare'

Jessica Hynes will reunite with her Spaced co-star Simon Pegg on black comedy Burke And Hare.

The Brit actress is to play Lucky, the wife of Andy Serkis's character William Hare, who robs graves with his accomplice William Burke (Pegg) and sells the stolen corpses on for medical research.

Tim Curry, Reece Shearsmith, Allan Corduner, Michael Smiley and Sir Christopher Lee are also among the additions to the cast for American Werewolf In London director John Landis's return to filmmaking. Isla Fisher will portray Pegg's love interest Ginny, while Tom Wilkinson is anatomy lecturer Dr Robert Knox.

"Burke And Hare is a very black romantic comedy in the classic tradition of the Ealing Studios' Kind Hearts And Coronets and The Ladykillers," said Landis.

Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft wrote the script based around the true story of the Edinburgh bodysnatchers. Burke And Hare began production on Sunday around London, Edinburgh and Ealing Studios.
