The 26-year-old model Noah Mills, who is the current face of Michael Kors menswear, will play the part of Nicky. Mills has previously modelled for John Galliano, Tom Ford and Dolce & Gabbana, but the forthcoming film marks his first acting gig.
"It's my first film, and there was a lot to prove. Every day was like, 'I belong here!'" Mills told the LA Times. The model added that Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon were welcoming and kind to him. "It felt like they were all coming to set for the first time."
Mills claimed that Cattrall is quite different from her character and she was very hard-working. "She’s really intelligent and really there to work," he said.
The Sex and the City sequel wrapped production in late 2009 and will be released in theaters in May.
