Pattinson, Thurman sex scenes 'disturbing'

Robert Pattinson has reportedly described his sex scenes with Uma Thurman in Bel Ami as "kind of disturbing".

The 23-year-old actor stars as a corrupt journalist who becomes romantically involved with Thurman's wealthy woman in the upcoming period drama, based on a 1885 novel.

Speaking to the Daily Record, he said: "The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing. Her character kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal.

"There's a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I'm asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well."

Bel Ami, which also stars Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas, is scheduled for release next year.
