Ving Rhames is reportedly suing the producers of his latest movie Red Canvas.
According to TMZ, the Pulp Fiction star filed a lawsut in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday alleging that he did not receive full payment for his work on the project.
Rhames claimed that the film's writer and director Kenneth Chamitoff had initially promised him $200,000 (£125,000) for six days work on the action film, but that he later received only $175,000 (£109,000) of the total following a "stop payment" on his final $25,000 (£17,000) instalment.
Rhames is suing Chamitoff and Red Canvas Productions for fraud and breach of contract.
