Johnny Depp: 'My career has defied logic'

The actor has become one of the industry's biggest draws since he rose to fame in 1990 with his starring role in Edward Scissorhands.
Although the 46-year-old is still busy in film nearly two decades later, he told People that he finds it astonishing that he has managed to get so far.
He revealed: "The whole ride - my whole ride and experience on the ride - since day one has been pretty surreal in this business. It defies logic, why I'm still here. I'm still completely shocked that I still get jobs and still am around... I've been very lucky.
"I had no idea where anything was going, but you can't. It's almost impossible to predict anything like that. I had no idea. I had hoped... But I'm luckily still here."
