The pair join the already cast Seth Rogen, James McAvoy, Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard in the project from Summit/Mandate Pictures, reports Variety.
McAvoy plays a man who battles cancer over several years. The film is based on the real-life experiences of screenwriter Will Reiser.
The Wackness director Jonathan Levine has signed to helm the film, which starts shooting in Vancouver later this month.
