'Sahara' tops US box office chart

Action adventure Sahara debuted at the top of the North American box office chart this week, taking $18.5m (£9.8m).
The movie stars treasure-hunters Matthew McConaughey and Steve Zahn set off in search of an American Civil War battleship with the help of doctor Penelope Cruz.
Sahara knocked last week's chart-topping graphic novel adaptation Sin City to second place, taking $14.1m (£7.5m).
Nick Hornby adaptation Fever Pitch was this week's other new entry, appearing at number three with earnings of $13m (£6.9m).
