'Little Britter' signs for first movie

Little Britain star David Walliams has signed up for his first movie role.
The Sun reports that he will play a comic Italian fisherman alongside leading lady Mischa Barton's (The O.C.) Pampinea in The Decameron.
The movie, based upon Giovanni Boccaccio's book of the same name, will tell the story of young Florentines during the Black Plague and is due for release next year.
