According to Deadline Hollywood, Cotillard will star alongside Owen Wilson and possibly France's First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy in the upcoming film.
Production on the movie will start this summer in France, after the release of Allen's next picture You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.
Cotillard will next be seen in director Christopher Nolan's Inception.
