According to the editor-in-chief's Twitter account, he is reading through a copy of Zak Penn's screenplay for the superhero film.
Quesada wrote: "Definition of 'goose bumps'. Pressing enter and watching a screenplay entitled Avengers come out of my printer."
The treatment is thought to be a first draft and is expected to undergo changes following extensive proof-reading from key individuals.
Avengers is slated for release on May 4, 2012.
