'Twilight's Hardwicke eyes 'Dot War'

According to Pajiba, the Twilight helmer is on Paramount's shortlist to direct producer Michael London's project.
The story, described as War Games meets Real Genius, follows a video game programmer who is recruited by the government to battle terrorists using virtual technology.
Dot War is based on an old script by Laura Harrington.
Hardwicke is also working on Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried and a contemporary spin on Hamlet starring Emile Hirsch in the lead role.
