The Will Forte MacGyver spoof was due to open in April, but will now be released in US theaters on May 21, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The studio will instead release action-adventure film The Losers in late April. MacGruber was pushed back as to not compete with The Losers.
MacGruber also stars Kristen Wiig, Val Kilmer and Ryan Phillippe.
