Spiderman actor Tobey Maguire has signed up to take the starring role in a new movie, Tokyo Sucker-Punch.
Maguire's character in the film, Billy Chaka, is a reporter for a teen magazine who is thrilled to have his writing turned into a movie, but when he visits Tokyo to see the premiere, he hates the film. Billy soon has more to worry about, however, as the movie's director is murdered and he is the prime suspect.
The movie, based on a novel by Isaac Adamson, will be written by Ed Solomon, who also wrote Men In Black and Charlie's Angels.
