
Writing on Twitter, the journalist praised the script of the terrorist comedy, which was penned by Morris together with Peep Show writers Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain.
Brooker said: "Saw ''4 Lions' last night. Like laughing self sick while intermittently being kicked in the nuts. Also: it's a festival of brilliant lines."
Morris and Brooker collaborated on Channel 4 sitcom Nathan Barley in 2005, a show based on Brooker's 'C***' listing from the TVGoHome website.
