Kathryn Bigelow's The Hurt Locker surprised a few people by pipping ex-husband James Cameron's Avatar to the 'Best Picture' gong at last night's Oscars. But before the ceremony in Los Angeles, Hollywood's brightest put on their glad rags and strutted their stuff on the red carpet.
