Timberlake sought for Flaming Lips movie

Speaking to Billboard, Coyne said that he is looking to recruit a number of star names to cameo in the project, a follow-up to 2008's Christmas On Mars.
"I'm in the process of begging [Timberlake]," Coyne said. "If I'm lucky I'll be able to wear him down in another year. [I want] celebrities to show up and have fun with us for a couple of nights."
Timberlake famously played bass with The Flaming Lips during their performance of 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' on Top Of The Pops in 2003.
Discussing the untitled film, Coyne added that he wants to simplify the production and spend less time making it than the seven years it took to complete Christmas On Mars.
"My only goal was that I didn't have to build space station-looking sets every time I wanted to have someone say something," he commented. "This one is set in someone's house, a backyard and a slaughterhouse; all those are available to me right here."
